Close From Home! How Remote Online Notarization Works

For our NC closings, we now have the ability to allow you to close from home. 

In order to qualify, you must be physically located in the state of North Carolina at the time of closing. 

How it works:

1. We will overnight you your closing documents the day before your scheduled closing. 

2. On the day of closing, you will meet with your assigned closing paralegal, or one of our closing agents via Google Meets (online video conferencing). During this video call, you will sign your closing documents in front of the notary. 

3. We will provide you a UPS or FedEx label to return the documents to one of our offices. 

4. We will handle the rest!

*Important to note: We cannot record the same day of closing if you choose this option. We must have the wet-signed documents in our possession before we can record. The Close From Home option is ideal for refinances or closings that are not concerned about deed recording date and time.
